About the Event

Schools and parents working together can make great things happen for students! Parent University, a new program sponsored by the Peninsula Education Foundation, will inform and educate parents on a variety of important topics, including school site policies, how to use district technology resources like Aeries, parenting techniques, social media best practices, and much more.

About the Speaker

Paul F. Dorin, Ph.D.

Dr. Dorin has been a licensed marriage and family therapist for more than 30 years. He specializes in working with teenagers and their families, and also conducts individual counseling with adults, as well as couples counseling. He has a private practice in Torrance, and is a frequent guest speaker at parent guidance meetings in local schools. He is also the author of a novel for young adults, Crickets on the Moon.
